I moved to Montevideo in 1983 and I missed my family and friends. Being a avid cross-stitcher, I soon found the Yarn Shop and a long time friend. She always had time to visit and tell me about Montevideo. My husband and I were involved in bowling and that is where we met the rest of the Jorgensons. Over the years we would visit with Dorothy, Harlan, Bob , Ruth and their daughter, Enid. We had many good times and many laughs!
I hope your memories will help you through this tough time.

I would just like to take this time to express my condolences to the family. I was sadden to hear of Dorothy's passing. I work at the nursing home and she was a lovely lovely lady. Always dresses so nice and ALWAYS had a big big smile on her face. Im going to miss Dorothy but now her and Harlan can be together. Will miss walking in her room seeing that wonderful lady sitting in her chair with the biggest smile ever. I will miss seeing all the wonderful pictures sitting on her stand and seeing all the pretty flowers sent from family. Dorothy was truly a very special person to me.

Thinking of all of the Jorgenson family upon the death of their beloved Mother. My memories go back to Redwood Falls where I was a classmate of JoAnn....we went to Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Release Time, Luther League, and Confirmation together. Those growing up years were the best in a small town. Peace to all of you. JoAnn, Shirley Berg called me after the funeral to tell me about your Mom. Send me an email sometime, as I probably don't have an up-to-date one for you anymore.
