Sgt Sulflow was the greatest non-commissioned officer I ever had the privilege to serve under. There wasn't a single thing the man didn't know how to do and he was a pillar for my entire career with the 1-125 in New Ulm. He was a great teacher and a better leader. I was crushed when I head the news he passed, and the news of how he dies saving his family fits to the letter the man I had the honor to serve under for 8 years. If ever a man was irreplaceable, it is him. Rest in peace Wayne.

Wayne was an amazing person, solider, and leader. I remember when I was first assigned to the FDC as a cadet. He was quick to teach and tease but you were part of the group. Everyone that served with Wayne is better because of him. He will be missed.

I am so deeply grateful to have known Wayne. His kindness, generosity, and passion for our community will never be forgotten. He fell in love with the job and we fell in love with him. To say we will miss Wayne is an understatement, he truly was the kindest man I have ever met. We are so lucky he shared his passion and talents with us. And I am forever honored to be apart of the community he and so many of us call Home. Prayers to his family! ❤️

I don't quite know what to say. Words are so inadequate to express the profound sense of loss that we all must feel. Wayne was everyone's mentor and friend when we served in the FDC section together. When a question came up and the answer wasn't readily available Wayne sought that answer and shared it with everyone. He was a great Soldier, a leader, a friend and brother in arms. We're going to miss you Wayne, God Bless you, your family and your memory!
