Warren Streed was born in Edison Township, Swift County in Minnesota to Edward and Onetta (Stevenson) Streed.  He grew up in the Edison Township area and attended Beal Country School and then school in Milan.  On January 30, 1942 he was united in marriage to Lyla Hantho at her family farm in Lac qui Parle County.  They lived and farmed for many years in Edison Township of Swift County.  In 1979 they moved to Milan and then to Appleton in 2008.  Following Lyla’s death in 2010 Warren moved to Montevideo first to Copper Glen and then to Luther Haven Nursing Home.
